Install any updates for the current version of Windows, restart the device, and then try checking for the Windows 11 upgrade again.<\/span><\/li><li><span lang=\"en-US\">If Windows 11 is ready to be installed on the device, a message is displayed in the<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Windows Update<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">window showing that Windows 11 is ready. The<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Status:<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">also updates to<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><em><span lang=\"de\">Pending restart<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/li><li><span lang=\"en-US\">A<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Windows Update<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">notification is displayed in the notification area with the message<\/span><em><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Restart to install the newest Windows feature update<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\">.<br \/>To continue the Windows 11 upgrade, restart the device by selecting the<\/span><strong><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Restart now<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">button in the<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Windows Update<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">window or<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Restart now <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">in the<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"de\">Windows Update<\/span><span lang=\"de\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">notification.<\/span><\/li><li>The device restarts and the Windows 11 upgrade process continues. The Windows 11 upgrade will eventually be offered if the compatibility issue is resolved.
